Marketing Information Manager

The Marketing Information Manager will manage the reporting team in delivering a comprehensive and dynamic review of Marketing performance against targets and key metrics. They will build on BAT’s corporate strategy, linking it to our current performance and plans, increasing the understanding of the Australia business’ direction for both internal and above market stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the reporting team in delivering a comprehensive and dynamic review of Marketing performance against targets and key metrics, including insights into drivers of performance as well as future risk and opportunities.
  • Manage the messaging of the Australia business’s performance to our above market stakeholders, both in terms of reporting systems as well as monthly and quarterly reviews.
  • Drive a deeper understanding of our competitors through robust competitor tracking and strategic reviews, allowing us to better anticipate their behaviour, mitigate potential risks and maximise opportunities for further growth.
  • Build on BATs corporate strategy, linking it to our current performance and plans, increasing the understanding of the Australia business’s direction for both internal and above market stakeholders.
  • Develop and build testing and implementation strategies.
  • Provide key metrics of segment performance, ROI, including NPIs, and driving towards recommended next steps.
  • Data mine multiple sources to produce significant and useful and objective insights

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited higher learning institution required or equivalent combination of experience and education (preferred area of study: Business, Mathematics, Computer Science or other similar fields).
  • 5 years of demonstrated experience in analytics and customer modelling, managing specific segment development initiatives.
  • Must have knowledge of statistical methods and system design used to analyse customer data and behaviour.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Experience with campaign management and segmentation tools.
  • Expert knowledge and capabilities in Excel.
  • Must be results driven with an excellent attention to detail.
  • Must be comfortable managing projects and timelines.
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be able to effectively manage intra departmental relationships, and work in assigned teams and other groups as required.
