Motorsport Experience Manager

What are we looking for?

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a part time Motorsport Experience Manager.  This position will be responsible for The Bend Motorsport Park Driver Experience Programs.  You will have a ‘can do’ attitude and your duties will include participating in hot lap events and The Bends dedicated member days as required.

Who are we?

The Bend Motorsport Park situated in Tailem Bend is a state of the art, world class multi-purpose facility, built for all motoring disciplines.  The Bend is the ultimate experience for motor enthusiasts.

Your responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Conducting and coordinating the programs on behalf of The Bend Motorsport Park
  • Instruct / drive in the programs
  • Develop a promotional (marketing & sales) plan
  • Comply with WHS legislation, sanctioning body and insurer requirements to deliver these programs
  • Coordinate and train personnel to assist in the delivery of these programs as well as fleet management
  • Maintain and develop budgets
  • Customer engagement and in attendance at member days to promote and coach

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

Essential

  • Current MA (previously CAMS) licence
  • Familiarity with motorsport rules and regulations, risk mitigation, CAMS, AASA & MA regulations and compliance
  • Experience as a driving instructor on a race circuit in high performance vehicles
  • Promotion, marketing and sales experience
  • Police Clearance
  • Drivers Licence
  • First Aid Certificate

Desirable

  • High level of business acumen with proven ability to administer a stand-alone business unit
  • Professional presentation skills, high level of verbal communication and interpersonal skills and a strong ability to integrate with a small team while meeting deadlines
  • High level understanding of WHS requirements with effective organisation, time management and customer skills
  • Knowledge of motorsport event management systems and electronic timing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and databases
