Rail Workers - Mackay and Sarina QLD

RMC Rail Services provides track maintenance and construction teams to deliver a wide range of services across Australia. RMC has established depots in Western Australia, Central Queensland and NSW to provide the highest quality service to key clients in mining, resources and the intermodal freight business. We have a reputation based on quality, capability and on time delivery, built from on-ground capability.
 
We are seeking experienced and accredited Rail Workers for casual positions based in the Mackay and Sarina areas for various upcoming maintenance and construction work.

What you need to be successful in this role:
  • Demonstrate previous experience working in Rail Construction or Maintenance Teams
  • Must be Mackay/Sarina based and willing to work locally/travel to locations for work
  • Must be available and flexible for reactive work opportunities
  • Able to pass all required recruitment testing and pre-employment health assessments, inclusive of ongoing D&A testing
  • A proven track record of punctuality and good attribute to work within a team environment, as well as working autonomously – this will be obtained through reference checking.
  • 100% commitment to Safety
 
Highly desirable qualifications, but not essential:
  • Certificate II or III in Rail Infrastructure or units of competency towards these qualifications
  • Rail welding tickets for Railtech and/or Thermit welding processes
  • Welding units of competency (TLIW3015, TLIW3035 and/or TLIW2012)
  • Current HR or MR Drivers Licence (desired)
  • Aurizon and Queensland Rail inductions
