Tenders A to Z is a rapidly expanding professional writing company specialising in tenders, proposals, management plans and grants. Our company has been operating for the past eight years and has established a reputation as one of Australia's leading tender writing companies through our high win rate and customer service culture. We are seeking to engage experienced writers as a result of increased demand for our services.
The role involves working from home or from your own office premises on a contract basis so your own computer, high speed internet connection, phone and ABN are essential. While the advertised location for these positions is Melbourne, we are interested in applicants from all over Australia regardless of location.
We will consider applications from people of all industry backgrounds, with a minimum of two years' experience in a dedicated tender writing role. Your application will need to address the following Criteria. Please do not apply unless you have the required level of experience:
Criterion 1 – Demonstrated Experience
Outline your relevant work background with regards to tender writing experience. Provide details of your industry sector/s, the types of bids you have been responsible for writing and success rate. Also describe your responsibilities in the tender writing such as involvement in the bid decision, collaboration between multiple employees to gather the necessary information and ability to project manage the process.
Criterion 2 – Qualifications & Training
Provide details of your industry or tertiary qualifications, in addition to further training with regards to tender writing and Microsoft Office package skills. You will need advanced skills in MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
Criterion 3 – Availability & Location
State your location, current employment arrangements and availability in terms of hours per week you can dedicate to freelance work. Also discuss your willingness to engage in onsite work at client locations should the opportunity arise.
Criterion 4 – Interpersonal Skills
Describe your interpersonal skills and approach to work, considering time management ability, customer service ethos and capability to meet short deadlines with conflicting priorities. Consider that you will be working with a range of clients with varying experience in the tender process and will be responsible for making deadlines regardless of any setbacks.
Criterion 5 – CV and Referees
Provide a current copy of your CV and referees.
