Compliance Manager, Superannuation

Compliance Manager- Superannuation Trustee Office

Equity Trustees is growing and that means we are on the lookout for our next super recruit!

About the role:

The successful incumbent will be an emerging compliance professional with a keen desire to work in a dynamic and expanding trustee office to ensure that the best interests of members are always served.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring that the Trustee complies with relevant legislation and internal policies relating to due diligence and issue of all disclosure documentation.
  • Oversighting funds under trusteeship regarding marketing activities, complaints and breach and incident management.
  • Liaising with third party providers to ensure that EQT remains compliant with its regulatory obligations
  • Monitoring regulatory change and assessing impacts on EQT’s funds under trusteeship
  • Participating in trustee projects as required including undertaking due diligence activities related to the onboarding of superannuation funds and service providers.
  • Managing day to day issues which arise with service providers including acting as an escalation point for trustee matters.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • At least 2- 4 years previous experience in a superannuation environment, preferably with a focus on preparing and understanding the regulatory requirements relating to Product Disclosure.
  • Proven up to date knowledge, and ability to apply and interpret superannuation legislation
  • Ability to analyse information, apply it and readily adapt to change.
  • Ability to organise / prioritise tasks and work efficiently and independently.
  • Exceptional Computer Skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
