About the role

 

This full time role is based at the ReadyTech HQ offices in Pyrmont, Sydney.

Initially 6-month contract will the possibility of extension for the right candidate 

 

The Opportunity

You'll work with our amazing yet modest ReadyTech Finance team, supporting JobReady, MyProfling and Esher House brands.

 

What you'll be doing:

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role would be responsible for:

  • Processing daily customer invoice and monthly sales order renewal
  • Processing supplier invoices and payment run
  • Weekly Debtor collections and reporting
  • Assist in Month end journal processing
  • Assist with Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Company credit card expense reconciliation and process staff expense claim
  • Maintain fixed assets register and process depreciation journals
  • Support Finance Manager in preparation of cashflow forecast
  • Post intercompany transactions and reconciliations
  • Assisting with:
    • preparation of monthly financials reports
    • audits
    • ad hoc projects and the general needs of the Finance function as required from time-to-time

 

To thrive in this opportunity, you will:

  • Very high attention to detail and exceptional time management skills
  • Previous experience in an Assistant Accounting role
  • Netsuite system experience is a MUST
  • Excel skills: Pivot Tables & vlookups
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Hard working Team player, exhibits flexibility for different tasks and willingness to learn
  • Good communication, interpersonal and self-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and utilise a level of initiative
