We specialise in the design, construction and maintenance of new and existing networks, and deliver end-to-end engineering and asset management solutions on behalf of our blue chip client base.

 

About The Role

Service Stream is currently seeking a Video Production Officer to join our Media and Corporate Communications team. Reporting directly to the Video Production Lead, you will be responsible for contributing to the production and distribution of digital video content to support improved communication and training outcomes across the wider business. Based in our Collins Street head office in Melbourne’s CBD, and offered on a permanent, full time basis, this position offers an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Filming video content focused on people and capability, innovation, technical training, digital campaigns and external communications.
  • Maintain production equipment for on location production and Live Streaming.
  • Edit high quality digital content using a combination of pre-existing and raw video material, motion graphics, stock images, audio and text.
  • Use pre-existing elements to create digital animation and motion graphics in Adobe After Effects.
  • Provide operational and procedural support to the business during, pre and post live-streaming events.
  • Assist with booking resources and gathering approvals from stakeholders.
  • Liaise with the Video Production Lead to ensure the timely delivery of content.
  • Contribute to the communications function within the Service Stream Group.

 


Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the end to end production process.
  • Have an excellent knowledge of shooting, sound and lighting equipment.
  • Have a passion for storytelling.
  • Have an ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency using photo, audio-visual editing and motion graphic design software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and Audacity.
  • Excellent communication relationship building skills, and ability to work in a team.
  • Have a good understanding of production workflows.
  • Formal qualifications in Video Production, Media or Film desirable.
