Do you look at things a little differently? Do you find opportunity in adversity? Do you want to work with people who think just like you?

Well we have a deal for you!

Who are we?

The People:

We have walkers, hikers, cross fit enthusiasts, runners, swimmers, music lovers, campers. Board Game enthusiasts, amateur motor sports participants, touch football players, dog lovers, foodies and some drinkies. We have family people, single people, young people, middle aged people - all kinds of people.  You will find someone you have something in common with here, or maybe more than one thing.

The Place:

Tasmania, the Apple Isle.  Come down for a cordial, chat to a yaffler, walk through the bush and hear the narkie’s. Get lost in the Bridgewater Jerry after you venture beyond the Flannelette Curtain to see Kunanyi and find your mojo at a Dark festival. If you have no idea what we are talking about, you really should come to Tasmania to learn.

Ooops, Sorry, More Specifically OUR Place:

Our Team’s been around since 2011, but now we have a new, shiny, purpose built Allied Health Centre full of other Amazing People: Dietitians, Speech Pathologists, Music Therapist, Occupational Therapists and Business Professionals.  It’s a real melting pot of ideas, energy and personalities.  We are all in this together for the client, that’s our focus and our purpose.  We work together as a team to get the Right Person to the client at the Right Time.  Our clients are everywhere around Tasmania, they come to us, we go to them.  They could be kids, they could be adults in the community or they could be in a Aged Care Facility.  We have Amazing People who are passionate about different age groups and in every age group we have Amazing Clients.

We are passionate about our staff and passionate about helping them to find their passion!  (probably overused Passion there).  Just think about it: You being AWESOME, on an AWESOME team, in an AWESOME place!  That’s… what’s the word for it... AWESOME!

This Role:

We are looking for a Qualified Allied Health Assistant to work with us in our practice.  Your primary role will be completing screens in Residential Agedcare Facilities and liasing with nursing staff and our Allied Health Practitioners to deliver excellent client outcomes.  This role could turn into anything you wish it to be, so think bit and creatively!

Our Hiring Process:

  1. You find or get sent this job ad,
  2. You read the ad,
  3. It piques your interest/you want to disprove our claims,
  4. You tell us you are interested, let's face it, normally by SMS, (it is 2020 after all),
  5. You provide us with a resume.  It could be decades old or something you smashed out in 10 minutes flat with no planning because you read this and thought – YES! I’m AWESOME!
  6. You come and meet the team, do some bonding and verify all the truths (and more), then
  7. You tell everyone how amazing your life has become.

Don’t ignore this opportunity.  Don’t think on it, don’t procrastinate, don’t mull, ponder, contemplate or woolgather. Throw your hat in the ring.  What’s the worst that could happen?  You see our team, chat to us and realise that every single word in here is true (which you will) and you’re a perfect fit, OR you are amazing and don’t take our offer anyway.  We don’t see a downside here…

Oh, better throw in that SMS Number: 0417 569 908- or attach that Resume and Cover Letter for us!

The application form will include these questions:
  • Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
  • Do you have a current Australian driver's licence?
  • What's your expected annual base salary?
