Electrical Apprenticeship - Bairnsdale

AGA are seeking individuals to undertake an Electrical Apprenticeship to work with an organisation based in Bairnsdale. The successful candidates will work full time for 4 years whilst completing a ‘Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician’.  
  
Responsibilities:
  • Install electrical and electronic control systems
  • Assemble electrical and electronic components and appliances
  • Connect electrical equipment to power supplies
  • Connect wires or cables to terminals or connectors according to wiring diagrams
  • Install Solar Panels on residential homes
  • Roughing in cables to switchboards
Role Selection Criteria:
  • Above average mathematical and technical activities
  • Good eyesight and normal colour vision
  • An aptitude for mechanics and electronics
  • Able to work as part of a team
Requirements:
  • Drivers licence (preferred)
  • Pre Apprenticeship (preferred)
  • Willing to undertake a Police Check and/or Medical
  • Genuine interest in electrotechnology
AGA Apprentices will:
  • Attend accredited RTO/TAFE training
  • Receive ongoing mentoring & support
  • Receive a weekly wage including entitlements
  • Obtain personal protective equipment
