Service Desk Analyst

Join an extremely busy IT team and be the first point of contact for any Level 1 IT support. Based in Mt Waverley Head Office.


Reporting to the Service Desk Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:
  • Responding to support requests for technical assistance in person, via phone and electronically;
  • Providing Level 1 support to internal Metricon employees;
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical hardware and software issues;
  • Logging all helpdesk interactions; and
  • Escalating issues to level 2 support where necessary.

The successful candidate will have:
  • Experience in a similar role is essential;
  • IT Qualifications and ITIL knowledge are favourable;
  • A strong customer service ability with professional communication skills (both written and verbal);
  • Basic IT Hardware, software and network knowledge while being proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows/Office applications;
  • Ability to work under pressure with great organisational and problem solving skills;
  • The willingness and aptitude to learn and develop your skillset and experience; and
  • A proactive approach to all tasks undertaken.

This role requires a national police check to be undertaken.
