What we are looking for:

Are you a procurement specialist with expertise in end to end procurement and contract management processes with experience in Local Government practices? Do you demonstrate leadership, initiative with a steadfast approach to compliance and have a keen eye for detail?  If this sounds like you please consider joining our dynamic team to work through our procurement framework and support our team in the provision of specialist advice to Council.

What you should have to apply:-

  • Tertiary qualification (AQF level 7 or above) in a procurement related discipline eg: procurement and contracting, supply chain management, business or administration and/or extensive experience in a procurement field
  • High level experience in procurement and contract management process
  • Extensive knowledge in legislation, legal obligations and Local Government process relating to strategic procurement practices
  • Leadership skills
