The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our new Melbourne team. You will have the unique opportunity to build our NDIS Occupational Therapy services from the ground up and to grow your team, with the guidance of a highly experienced leadership team working in states where services are well established.  Key areas will include:

  • Completing high quality NDIS assessments and intervention services (including: including: assistive technology, home modifications, functional daily living, Supported Independent Living and sensory assessments, as well as a range of functional capacity building and therapeutic interventions).
  • Developing exceptionally well written reports and intervention plans that incorporate useful and cutting edge strategies and interventions.
  • Providing services across different environments including homes, schools, community programs, workplaces and/or ORS offices.
  • Entering all information, notes, time spent and documents are entered daily into ORS’ online case management database and documents are entered daily into ORS’ online case management database.

 

Requirements:

  • Occupational Therapy degree and full AHPRA registration (required) – strong experience in assistive technology prescription and / or home modifications highly desirable
  • Car and licence (required)
  • A current National Police Clearance and Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement (required)
  • Clinical experience (required)
  • NDIS experience (highly desirable)
  • Experience working in an environment with KPIs/targets (highly desirable)
  • Experience in business development and with growing a team (highly desirable)
  • Experience with managing customer relationships (highly desirable)
