The Role: This position provides information and communication technology (ICT) system administrative support to local and remote systems, Juniper networks, Linux and Windows OS and applications support. This role also includes identification and resolution of system and network performance issues and faults, software and hardware installations, modifications and reconfigurations; verification of system performance and availability.
About You: To be successful you will be suitably qualified with tertiary or technical qualifications in Electronics or Communications Engineering or Information or Computer Technology, and have solid experience in either Linux and/or Windows and/or Networking. Also you will have excellent ICT troubleshooting and decision making skills with experience supporting complex ICT systems.
You will need to have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Successful applicants will also need to demonstrate they can use initiative, prioritise and work in a fast paced environment within tight timeframes, and have a strong understanding of customer service and stakeholder engagement in a corporate and or defence environment.

Security Clearance: You will be required to successfully undergo the vetting process for a high level Government security clearance (TSPV). Therefore, you MUST be willing to disclose all relevant and required information and MUST have the ability to verify your background for whole of life i.e. birth to present time.
