People Systems Administrator

  • Full time, ongoing role
  • Orange, Lismore or Queanbeyan preferred, other locations negotiable
  • Clerk Grade 9-10, salary of $110,745 p.a. plus super

Department of Regional NSW are looking for a Systems Administrator to hit the ground running in our people team. The people team provides a range of specialised human resources services to the department including recruitment, injury management, workers compensation and performance management. You will be responsible for providing technical support to our team and the department on a range of systems including PageUp, CAMMS, and ServiceNow, as well as managing complex integrations, configuration and resolving issues.

Reporting to the Director Analytics, Payroll and Establishment you will also partner and collaborate with subject matter experts within our team to develop practical solutions and systems improvements and will provide recommendations on future enhancements to support the continued service delivery to our clients in a fast paced, high volume environment.

Some of the key duties of your role will be:

  • Troubleshooting and reporting technical issues to system vendors
  • Working with other stakeholders and providers to manage integrations and resolve issues
  • Train and guide employees and managers to effectively use our HR applications and systems
  • Identifying, recommending and implementing system improvements

To succeed in this role you will

  • Be an excellent communicator and have the ability to translate complex technical issues for employees with no technical experience
  • Have the ability to identify and understand user challenges and provide practical recommendations and solutions
  • Have experience in managing recruitment, learning, safety and performance systems (both local and cloud based)
