What are we looking for?
We’re offering a 6 month fixed-term parental leave contract for a skilled individual who can demonstrate financial expertise in a Franchise Management Accounting role. You’ll have experience within a finance function of delivering insightful financial analysis and supporting operational teams. The role is an integral part of our Finance team supporting our franchise network of Business Owners and the Head of Finance to deliver key performance metrics and reporting as well as contributing to systems development and ad hoc projects.


About the Role:
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the successful individual will;

  • Provide financial/performance reports and analysis on a monthly and ad-hoc basis to management and Business Owners (Franchise Network)
  • Support the Operations team with monthly/ad-hoc performance reporting
  • Assess the financial impact of potential business changes
  • Assist Head of Finance with review/commentary of monthly financial performance
  • Monthly analysis of specific Profit & Loss accounts
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Contribute to the development and/or transition to new performance reporting systems
  • Analysis of individual club performance for franchisee relief applications
  • Lead franchise compliance projects as required

What experience and/or qualifications do I need?

  • CA or CPA related qualification (or working towards)
  • Strong presentation, reporting and communication skills to a wide range of stakeholders
  • Experience using accounting software packages and ideally BI Reporting tools
  • Intermediate/Advanced MS Excel
  • Experience in the franchise industry desirable
  • Strong accounting systems, analytical and reporting skills
  • Ability to assess performance using financial and non-financial metrics
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills
  • Ability to deliver relevant information clearly and concisely
