About the role

We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join our growing team at an exciting time. As Project Coordinator, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Provide superior administration support to Projects team
  • Prepare and manage purchase orders
  • Procurement of materials and project needs
  • Assist with coordination of contractor quotation for review
  • Communication link between Project Managers, and Sub-Contractors/Suppliers
  • Assist Project Manager in compiling Operation Handover Manuals
  • Competent in file management in line with company processes
  • Take and issue minute meetings
  • Finalise trade packages
  • Preparation of council documentation
  • Review and approve SWMS
  • Maintain a product file and catalogue library on suppliers and other items
  • Develop a basic Programme of Works in MS Project using approved template which includes sales, statutory approvals, design, engineering and construction lead times so client understands the full process from the beginning of project.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Undertaking study within Project Management or Construction
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar experience
  • Proficient in Netsuite preferred, but not essential
  • Ability to deal with a variety of stakeholders both internal and external
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Willingness to assist and support others as required and work well within a team
