Human Resources Administrator

LexVeritas is a Brisbane based company on a mission to make its clients more productive. We are a fully integrated legal operations business providing Finance, IT and HR services to law firms across Australia.

The Position

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced Human Resources Administrator to join our Brisbane office on a permanent, full time basis.

You will play an integral part of the team by delivering a high quality service across a variety of areas.

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, you will be responsible for delivering operational HR support to our clients.

This role would be ideal for a HR professional with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.

Core duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

  • End-to-end recruitment and selection, including screening, interviews, reference checks, making offers and preparing contracts
  • Personnel administration including on-boarding and off-boarding employees, managing personnel changes and ensuring accuracy of data on the HR system
  • Facilitation of new hire inductions, performance appraisals and termination processes
  • Communicate and coordinate recognition and rewards
  • Coordinate various learning and development initiatives, wellbeing and training programs
  • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the HR systems and compulsory development training records
  • Assist with policy development, incident reporting, workers compensation claims and producing HR reports including data analysis as well as general administration
  • Provide accurate and timely HR generalist advice to stakeholders on matters across the employment life-cycle including performance management

The successful applicant will possess the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business/human resource management with at least 3 years' experience in a generalist HR position
  • Whilst not essential, it is preferred the ideal candidate holds a Certificate IV in work health and safety.
  • Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Well organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines together with a high level of attention to detail
  • A willingness to learn with a proactive, motivated attitude
  • Previous experience in professional services and/or the legal industry will be considered advantageous.
