About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic, motivated and customer focused individual to join Cockburn ARC’s Indoor Stadium team as Sports Team Leader. The role is busy and hands on with a focus on relaunching sporting programs.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A proven track record of results in managing social sporting competitions across the Sports and Leisure, Events or Hospitality sectors
  • Experience in developing sporting competitions and events
  • Exceptional people leadership skills including developing high performing teams, mentoring and coaching
  • Proven ability to work and perform in a high paced, active environment
  • Energetic and vibrant approach
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Solid understanding of budgets and financial management

The ideal applicant will have multi-sport experience and a passion for driving activity and connection through play, practice, learning and social competition. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun, with a flair for working with a diverse range of participants. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensure all social sports participants are gaining maximum benefit and enjoyment from the services provided.

This is an exciting opportunity for a suitable leader to make a valuable contribution to our fast-growing City. If you are an energetic and organised individual who is looking for an exciting challenge, then we want to hear from you!  

Base Salary: $75,025 - $79,815 per annum (pro rata), depending on qualifications and experience.

Hours; Full time, 38-hour weekly roster as per the requirements of the role and as negotiated with the Programs Coordinator with a fortnightly RDO available.

Term; Immediate start with the initial contract period until the end of August 2020, with a possibility of extension.
