Boarding House Deputy – Pastoral and Wellbeing

PLC Perth in Western Australia is one of Australia's leading schools for girls. Boasting an impressive academic record and extensive and very successful sporting, music and co-curricular programmes; this vibrant community is an exciting and rewarding place to work.

We are a Uniting Church school catering for more than 1100 day and boarding students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12. Our campus is located in the suburb of Peppermint Grove, situated between the ocean and the river.

Boarding House Deputy - Pastoral Care and Wellbeing 

Permanent, Part Time, 25 Hours

Commencing Term 3, 2020

PLC is seeking a proactive and caring person to provide leadership and administrative assistance within our boarding house. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Boarding to provide pastoral support to the boarding students, creating an encouraging environment and sense of belonging. Experience in managing and maintaining effective relationships with students, parents, and fellow staff is essential. 

Due to the nature of this role, the incumbent will be required to live on campus. Accommodation is provided to the individual and their family (if applicable) within the Boarding House, along with reasonable costs for utilities (excluding telephone call costs).
