LEVEL 1 DESKTOP SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

Spirit is an ASX listed Internet and IT Services Provider, delivering a super-fast Wireless Internet. We have offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Gold Coast, Perth and Manila. Spirit was established in 2005 and listed in 2016, since then we’ve been building our own off-the-charts fast Internet network and providing end to end Managed IT Services and Products to our customers across Australia. 

As a result of Spirit’s continued growth, we require a talented person to join our MSP team based in our Head Office in South Melbourne, to provide excellent customer service to our current and new clients.

This role will require you to work as part of a team with our IT Managed Services department. You'll be hands on with everything from onsite and remote support to our national client base. You'll need a great attitude, love working directly with clients and be motivated to grow with this fast growing business.

You will be required to

  • Maintain Customer systems
  • Fulfill managed service agreement requirements
  • Manage Backups, Anti-Virus and Microsoft Patches for our managed network
  • Provide phone and email support to clients and end users
  • Provide Level 1  support

You will need

  • Excellent TCP/IP skills
  • High level of experience with Windows Server and DC
  • High Level Office 365
  • Prior MSP experience
  • Business Grade Broadband installation and troubleshooting
  • Advanced user skills of Microsoft desktop operating systems and application suites.
  • Enthusiasm toward providing quality customer service and support.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), including a professional phone manner.
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Ability to meet targets
  • A Current Driver's license is essential
