About the opportunity

Are you passionate about using current technologies to produce first class work for major brands? We are seeking a Web Developer to join our growing fast paced business. The work will be varied and exciting, integrating with a range of technologies and hardware solutions in the physical or electronic fulfilment. This role is a key function for our technology team and is responsible for the continued development on our SaaS platforms.

We're a multidisciplinary team, fast paced, fun to work with and driven to make a difference. The ideal candidate will be similarly driven, able to work autonomously, detail-oriented, keen to set a direction and take ownership of the delivered results, have excellent communication, presentation and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Working with warehouse people and concerned stakeholders to assist in improving existing processes
  • Doing detailed scoping of the requirements and produce technical statement of works
  • Liaising with software vendors (warehouse management system, freight management system and financial system) to manage system, process and configuration changes based on the agreed specifications from stakeholders
  • Verifying and testing of delivered system features and enhancements
  • Warehouse and business development solutions i.e. technology in warehousing
  • Integrating existing applications with the client’s backend system via Restful Web Services and ETL-via-SFTP file drop process
  • Analysing and problem-solving including system troubleshooting
  • Managing Project specifications, testing (UAT/PVT), documentation and implementation phases of IT projects
  • Assisting in the maintenance of Order Management systems, CRM, Web services and Promotion SaaS platforms.
  • Maintaining system performance using SolarWinds
  • Assisting helpdesk on resolving support tasks

Skills and experience

  • 5 years (at least) experience as Web Developer
  • Extensive experience with ASP.Net C# 3.5 onwards, HTML/5, CSS/3, JavaScript, AJAX, Web Services (XML JSON) and LINQ
  • Strong database design and modelling skills with MS SQL Server hosted on SQL Cluster
  • Worked with Scrum Agile methodology
  • Outstanding attention to detail with strong analytical skills
  • Experience in balancing multiple deadlines and priorities

One or more of the following attributes would also be helpful:

  • Logistics Industry experience
  • Visual studio and Microsoft
  • DevOps experience
  • .Net framework experience
  • Auth0 and Loading Balanced application
  • IoT devices and streaming data
  • Microsoft Team foundation server
