Business Development Manager

Prudential Real Estate is a growing 4-office group in Sydney’s south-west having been established since 1988. Our offices manage more than three thousand residential properties and we are looking for someone who can add value to our business development team; someone to whom we can teach our systems-based selling process; someone who is hungry to learn, to grow and to succeed.

The role

  • Build and grow our property management rent roll

  • Present our property management services to prospective clients

  • Prospect and acquire new business

 Responsibilities

  • Build relationships based on professional standards

  • Achieve and exceed key production goals and targets

  • Manage a range of software applications and administrative tasks related to the on-boarding of new clients

  • You must be enthusiastic and willing to learn, able to work without supervision and often to a deadline

  • You must want to be rewarded for your individual performance - the better you perform the more you earn

  • NOTE: This role does not require the successful candidate to conduct open houses, in-going inspections or other property management or leasing functions

 Skills and experience

  • Certificate of registration (Assistant Agent) or real estate agent’s licence is a must. Applicants without these qualifications will not be considered

  • Experience with the management of residential properties or as a business development manager or as a property salesperson

  • If you have not worked in a direct sales role we can teach you everything you need to know from the ground up. Our systems are easy to learn and implement.

  • Your references should attest to your honesty, integrity and conscientiousness. Being a successful business development manager is hard work and often long hours. This is not a career for the faint-hearted.  But the income potential and satisfaction are both substantial

  • Your work history should demonstrate stability and progress over time.

  • And finally, it is best you know we have high standards and expect the successful candidate to work within our value system for the benefit of our clients (yes, we are a bit different to other real estate agents).

Candidates will only be considered if they live with 15 minutes drive of our Campbelltown office.
