About the role
NeuRA is now searching for a Direct Marketing (DM) and CRM Manager to join their Foundation team. The DM & CRM Manager is a key leadership role within the NeuRA Foundation, responsible for the development and implementation of the Foundation’s DM program as well as supervising the optimisation of Raisers Edge the Foundation’s CRM system. The role reports directly into the NeuRA Foundation Director and supervises 3 direct report – 2 x Donor Administrators and the CRM Administrator.
The DM & CRM Manager plays a vital role in advancing NeuRA’s critical research discoveries into conditions such as dementia, Parkinson’s disease, mental illness and spinal cord injury by raising support from thousands of current and prospective donors. You will be a senior member of a successful fundraising team which is well poised to move to the next level of growth. An attractive salary package is on offer.
By twelve months in the role, you will have reviewed the DM and donor acquisition strategies and proposed new ideas to further grow both programs. You will also have identified and implemented new efficiencies through the CRM and optimised its output as an enabler for fundraising growth.
Responsibilities for the role include:
- Develop and implement the DM and Regular Giving program.
- Manage the acquisition of new donors both through mail-based and digital channels.
- Optimise the efficiency of the Foundations CRM (Raisers Edge) ensuring it is a key enabler for data-driven fundraising success.
- Provide team leadership and supervision for the donor administration team (2 team members) and the CRM Administrator in achieving the goals of the DM program and CRM system.
To excel in this role you will be an experienced DM leader from within the For-Purpose sector. You will bring demonstrated leadership experience of a fundraising team and experience with a CRM system, preferably, Raisers Edge. You will have excellent attention to detail, organisational and planning abilities and possess excellent writing skills.
You will be a positive team player and able to collaborate well with other members of the Foundation team and have the ability to build confidence and trust with NeuRA’s senior researchers. The successful candidate will also have a good grasp of PCI DSS compliance.
Experience working in the health or medical research sector, while not essential, will be highly regarded.
The role is for full-time employment (35 hours per week).
