Tourist Complex Management Couple-Regional South Australia

We offer an excellent opportunity for a Hands On Experienced Hospitality Management Couple to manage this truly unique and remote Tourist Complex featuring onsite accommodation, Caravan Park,  bar, shop, restaurant and fuel outlet.

Immerse yourself in the spectacular culture of the Outback....Wide open spaces, starry skies, warm weather, stunning surrounds and an abundance of wildlife...

This is a live in role overseeing all day to day operations of the complex and as such relocation is essential.

Overview of Duties:

  • Complete day to day management of the complex in a hands on capacity assisting in & overseeing all areas including bar, accommodation, shop, fuel, caravan park and grounds.
  • Recruitment, training, rostering and mentoring of up to 15 onsite staff
  • Management of stock including stock control, stock ordering, freight logistics and regular stock takes
  • Cash handling including counting and balancing of tills, float and safe counts, banking processes
  • Processing of time sheets and invoices via offsite accounts departments
  • Monitoring of budgets for cost control, wastage and wage costs
  • Regular reporting of income, expenses and general business to company directors
  • Monitoring of fuel, fuel dips, fuel ordering, safety procedures etc
  • Monitoring of onsite facilities including generated power
  • Adhering to liquor licensing regulations
  • Liaise with local suppliers, police, liquor licensing and communities when required
  • Offering a high standard of customer service

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must have previous remote area management experience
  • Previous experience with hospitality venues or similar management of accommodation and food & beverage outlets
  • Must have or be able to obtain a relevant liquor licenses
  • Must hold a current Manual Drivers License
  • Have or obtain prior to commencement a National Police Check
  • Be willing to make a long term commitment
  • Have excellent work related references and a demonstrated history of stable employment
