About the Role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Speech Pathologist to join our Gold Coast (Arundel)  team providing TeleTherapy and face to face therapy to our predominantly paediatric clients. In this role you are also likely to travel to home and school visits or to our clinics as required. As a therapist within our multidisciplinary team you will join a passionate group providing quality services to our clients and their families.

An immediate start is available for the successful candidate, on a full time basis.

Experience in complex feeding will be highly regarded.

Montrose are committed to providing a safe workplace and are adhering to all Government regulations in the current environment. Our Therapists and clients are enthusiastically returning to face to face therapy wherever possible, however we do support offering TeleTherapy where required and you must be comfortable delivering therapy using both modalities.

Some of the benefits you get working with us:

  • Professional Development programs
  • Structured supervision program
  • Company provided laptop, iPad (loaded with relevant Apps for your therapy sessions) & mobile phone
  • Salary sacrifice of up to $15,900 (more money in your hand)
  • 9-day fortnight options
  • Additional paid leave over Christmas (with public holidays this usually means a full paid week off over Christmas)
  • Additional company paid parental leave
  • Ability to purchase additional leave
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your immediate family to enhance your wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments, intervention and management of children and young adults with physical disabilities, developmental delays, communication impairments and other associated disabilities.
  • Design and implement goal achievement plans for clients
  • Provide evidence based therapy to achieve customer goals.

As an NDIS Registered Provider background screening is important to us, therefore you will need to demonstrate:

  • A tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and current registration with SPA.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (desireable)
  • Current Blue Card (Working with Children and Young People) or willingness to apply for a Blue Card
  • Certificate of completion - NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
  • A current drivers' license and access to a reliable vehicle are essential for service provision.
