Exciting new position has opened up for a new Business Systems Developer, based in our Business Support team in our Bundaberg Operations Hub. The original base of Best Practice Software, and now a major operational nerve centre for the company’s operations, our Bundaberg Operations Hub is located in the regional city’s Central Business District, on the central coast of Queensland, just four hours’ drive – or a 40-minute flight – north of Brisbane.
Bundaberg is an important provincial business, government and agricultural service city. Our facilities in Bundaberg form part of one of Australia’s largest health-IT campuses and includes three modern purpose-fit buildings accommodating a busy national support centre, and a variety of software development and commercial operations.
This role is integral to the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of business-critical systems. It’s a prime opportunity to carve your systems development career as a pivotal member of a small, busy, focussed, and dynamic team, working to design, develop, implement, and maintain business systems critical to Bp’s future.

If you enjoy working as a part of a small team collaborating with others to provide quality systems this role is for you. As the Business Systems Developer it will be important that you can:
Work independently and without supervision.
Work as part of a small team to design, develop, test, implement and maintain business-critical systems including ERP, CRM, HRIS, Intranet and Website using an agile methodology.
Engage with key stakeholders and SME’s to establish functional and technical requirements.
Prepare project documentation including reports, proposals, specifications, training documents and test plans.
Rapidly respond to business system outages or issues.
Provide the Business Systems Leader with regular updates on business system management, support, and maintenance activities, and their effectiveness in reaching business goals.
Naturally, we’re after the best. So, to succeed in this role, you’ll have:
Graduate qualifications in Information Technology (or equivalent experience)
Experience in software development (3+ years preferred)
Experience with Dynamics 365 and SharePoint configuration, maintenance and development are highly desirable.
