Myola Feedlot is a modern 20,000 head capacity feedlot situated in the heart of the “Golden Triangle” in northwest NSW and is 70km from Goondiwindi, 60km from Moree and 50km from Warialda. 

An exciting opportunity has become available for experienced pen riders with demonstrated abilities in animal husbandry, livestock handling and horsemanship.

Responsibilities and skills required:

  • Demonstrated experience in monitoring cattle health with the ability to diagnose animal health symptoms and treat with the appropriate protocols;
  • Assist in the processing shed, loading and unloading area;
  • Maintain troughs and hospital facilities;
  • Have excellent livestock handling skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, contributing positively to team operations and working relationships;
  • Competent horsemanship skills;
  • Supply at least 2 horses suitable for the job with own tack;
  • Show initiative and willingness to learn.
