Management Couple-Northern Territory

We are seeking an experienced Tourism Management Couple for this Unique hospitality & tourism based property located in the Northern Territory. 

This is a hands on Outback Experience that requires hands on management not afraid to get out there amongst it. You will work alongside your team to provide visitors and guests with a memorable and truly unforgettable outback Australian experience.

The property features on site accommodation and camping, on site dining, tour operation, adventure based activities and caters to both the domestic and international market. 

The property re-opens post covid in September 2020 and we are seeking a commencement date of Mid-Late July 2020. 

  • $150,000 Combined Package
  • Free On Site Accommodation & Meals
  • Onsite house provided-fully self contained 
  • Bonus-KPI Incentives 

Duties:

  • Day to day management of the property in a hands on capacity covering administration, accommodation, dining, retail, housekeeping, maintenance, tours
  • Management of up to 12+ staff, team mentoring, training and rostering within budgeted wage costs
  • Planning and hosting of tours and special events
  • Overseeing of all departments across the property
  • Liaising with suppliers, stock ordering, stock control and undertaking stock takes on a monthly basis
  • Cashing up and banking procedures, general communications, administration and reports for external based Payroll, accounts and marketing
  • Oversee all aspects of the properties maintenance department covering generators and bores and onsite equipment
  • Liaise with guests, follow up on special requests

Candidate Requirements

  • Must have an absolute passion for tourism & hospitality and exceeding guest expectations
  • Have previous tourism / resort management experience in a hands on capacity 
  • Previous experience with remote living and off the grid operations including operations of generators and bores
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good computer knowledge and strong administration skills 
  • Able to apply for NT Liquor License & Police Clearance
