This could be the role for you!

We're exclusively representing an international software company with a strong reputation and body of work in a niche industry sector. Their product is well respected in the Government and Enterprise space, they are well established in the Australian market, and they have all the technical knowledge and support to continue winning clients throughout the region.

This role is based in the Brisbane CBD with appropriate COVID-19 WFH/public health measures being taken.

The Role

Reporting to both the AsiaPacific Customer Care Manager and AsiaPacific Professional Services Manager, the ERP Support Consultant focuses on the Transport Industry and the complexities around Awards within Payroll and Finance.

This specialist role works with a small team of skilled professionals to primarily undertake consulting on business process reengineering, requirements analysis, product implementations of the software, training, and award interpretation to clients based in Australia and New Zealand.

The Consultant will:

  • Consult with existing clients to improve processes.
  • Signoff and implement the financial and payroll modules for new clients.
  • Build relationships with and help bring in business from our existing clients
  • Manage assigned support tickets to ensure resolution targets are achieved to a high satisfaction
  • Facilitate workshops to gather business requirements and then design solutions to meet these requirements, configure the software, undertake system testing, and deliver end-user training.
  • Provide Training and Support to customers on Software functionality of the Payroll and End to End Financials modules.
  • Perform new user and refresher training
  • Undertake any other reasonable tasks consistent with training and skill levels required for this position as requested.

Skills

We're looking for an eager, proactive professional with the following:

  • Degree in Accounting or related discipline or relevant commercial experience
  • Working experience and/or a solid comprehension of Accounting and Payroll processes in business operations including General Ledger, Debtors, Creditors, Award/EBA interpretation and financial reporting
  • Strong experience in a Consultancy, Business Analyst, and/or Pre-Sales background
  • Minimum 3+ years consulting - implementing ERP software and business process improvement in the finance and payroll areas
  • Solid experience in effectively delivering “how to” training to clients that result in high customer satisfaction and correct product use, and which minimizes subsequent support demands.
  • Strong ability in effectively using Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
  • Desirable: Experience with the Transport industry/Fleet Management, writing SQL, and writing reports using Jasper Reports.
  • A strong customer service mindset focused on understanding and addressing customer needs
  • Highly developed communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills in dealing with team members and other stakeholders from a wide variety of backgrounds.
  • Good problem solving and a determination to get the job done on time and to the clients’ satisfaction
  • Able to demonstrate strong commercial understanding
  • High-level business process and business analysis skills
  • Attention to detail and an aptitude to learn new skills and concepts quickly and thoroughly.
  • Mature and professional approach to work with an ability to instill a high level of confidence with others
