FIFO out of Perth – Western Australia

2 years fixed term contract

We are seeking a motivated Construction Safety Superintendent to join our leadership group.  This is a challenging, performance driven role, requiring the incumbent to carry out a broad range of duties.

The Opportunity:

Reporting directly to the Health and Safety Manager with a reporting line to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating safety, risk management and reporting processes for the Construction team on site;
  • Promoting safety awareness to Site personnel and seeking continuous improvement of safety standards, systems and procedures, in line with the current site safety management requirements; and
  • Assisting with managing compliance of construction contractor management requirements.

You Will Need:

  • Diploma of Work Health and Safety;
  • Certificate IV in Trainer and Assessor TAE;
  • A minimum of 2 years in a mining environment;
  • A minimum of 2 years in a construction environment;
  • A current WA manual drivers license;
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office suite;
  • An energetic attitude towards promoting a positive safety culture by leadership and empowerment of site personnel; and
  • To be able to work autonomously and thrive in a team and fast growing, diverse environment.
