Legal Secretary / Paralegal - Family Law

Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary (2 years minimum), to join their busy team.  Working closely with other Secretaries/Paralegals, you will be responsible for supporting a Director and their team with duties including:

  • Drafting a range of legal documents and correspondence
  • Dictation and copy typing
  • Diary management
  • Proof reading documents
  • Liaising with clients and Lawyers via telephone and email
  • Research tasks
  • Updating and maintaining records using Filepro
  • Compiling disclosure documents
  • Checking online Court lists
  • General administration as required (photocopying, scanning etc).

To be considered for this exceptional opportunity, we are seeking a switched on, energetic Secretary who is a strong team player.

You will also be required to demonstrate:

  • Family law experience, knowledge of family court procedures
  • A fast and accurate typing ability (minimum 60wpm with 95% accuracy+)
  • Strong command of the English language, impeccable written skills
  • Dictation experience
  • Filepro experience
