About LEAD Loddon Murray
LEAD Loddon Murray is Victoria’s largest and most diverse community leadership provider. Offering four concurrent community leadership programs per annum, LEAD Loddon Murray has a proud history and bright future. The organisation was founded to safeguard its flagship program, The Loddon Murray Community Leadership Program and to identify replicable and scalable elements of the LMCLP that could deliver positive impact for our region. In addressing those two goals, the organisation has recently enjoyed modest success by retaining key sponsors and introducing new programs.
The impact of COVID on the State of Victoria and the Loddon Mallee Region threatens our legacy and capacity to support emerging community leaders from 2021 and onward. The primary focus of the Executive Officer in the current environment is to maintain the relevance and value of the LMCLP and other program offerings within our local market and with our Principal Partner, the Victorian Government.
The successful candidate will join a team and network passionate about our purpose, that is to build the capacity of local communities to drive change.
Our immediate past executive officer, Leah Sertori will remain with the organisation in a learning and development role. Leah’s resignation from the EO role was driven by her desire to spend all of her time teaching, facilitating and coaching emerging leaders, both with LEAD Loddon Murray and through her private practice. The successful candidate will complete a handover with Leah, ensuring the capture of valuable organisational knowledge and relationships.
This position is advertised as a contract role for three years, subject to continued investment from program partners.
