We are looking for a strategic thinking, highly organised and outcomes-focused manager to lead the important hallmark capacity building programs within AgriFutures Australia.
  
When we say lead, we mean:
  • End to end management of multiple programs
  • Management of the events, marketing and communications outputs associated with the programs
  • Management of the stakeholder relations and external collaborations woven through these programs.
  • Management of new and exciting strategic initiative to ensure the current programs flourish and new opportunities are maximised.  
We are having a stab in the dark here and are guessing that you are currently working in a fast-paced environment, managing multi-faceted programs with many touchpoints and deliverables. You’re always working to a deadline with a variety of stakeholders who all want a piece of you.
  
Sounds tough for some, but you’ll be the type of person that thrives on this, you’ll actively seek out work with perfection being your middle name, setting high standards for both yourself and your team.
  
This position will be ideally based in AgriFutures head office in Wagga Wagga, NSW.
  
Reporting directly to the General Manager of Communications and Capacity Building, you will work closely with the Capacity Building Coordinator, who reports directly to you, to deliver programs and events that embody AgriFutures mission and values.
  
The General Manager requires someone who can take ownership of the role, someone who can think on their feet and be solutions driven with years of experience juggling programs, projects, events, sponsors and other stakeholders. You’ll need to take the reins and be confident in your ability to deliver. When the time is right, interstate travel required.
  
You’ll have a degree in Communications, Project Management, PR, Marketing or a related field.
