Calling all Junior/Graduate Engineers

Our client is a manufacturing/industrial firm based south of the river. The new financial year is set to be a big one for our client and as such they require the assistance of a Qualified Engineer who understands project coordination to work alongside the Project Manager to see these projects kick off right through to complete succession.

The Project Manager needs to focus on specific aspects within the firm as such is seeking a reliable, independent and most importantly proactive go-getter to join the team.
  

Reporting directly to the Project Manager key responsibilities of this role include; 
  
  • Developing of schedules
  • Assist in designing and developing drawings for site
  • Work with Project Manager in reviewing project specs
  • Prepare project plans and design sheets
  • Visit sites, prepare drawings and evaluate
  • Detailed trackings of costs and variance reportings
  • An ability to administer contractual obligations
  • Understanding of consultancy agreements and contracts
  • Accounts duties
  
    
  To be considered for this opportunity you will have; 
  
  • Experience and a sound knowledge of Autodesk inventor
  • Experience in Microsoft Project
  • A demonstrated understanding of fixed plant, steel member types and grade
  • A demonstrated understanding of Australian standards in relation to steel fabrication, design & erection
  • Qualifications in Engineering (mechanical) 
  • A high level of self motivation
  • The ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
  • Advanced computer skills – all MS office suite programs
