About the Opportunity:

We have an exciting 12-month fixed term, full-time opportunity with the possibility of an ongoing permanent role, based at our Clarkes Beach Holiday Park. You will adopt a “hands-on” approach and work with other senior staff to ensure the park is operated to the highest standard in accordance with organisational policy and procedures.

As the Park Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the park, working collaboratively with the broader Reflections team to optimise outcomes for the overall organisation and in the spirit of our organisational values and mission.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead by example, engendering a strong customer service-based culture;
  • Be responsible for implementing Reflections strategic plan, and ensure the financial performance of your park, by driving revenue opportunities and effectively managing expenses;
  • Implement efficient management practices in staffing, financial control, equipment maintenance, environment, staff training and development;
  • Oversee customer service delivery, implementation of WHS practices, and security, in line with organisational policies and procedures and best practice principles;
  • Utilise your skills and experience in negotiation, problem solving and conflict resolution to enable effective liaison at all levels with varied stakeholders;
  • Have a proactive, not reactive, approach, and utilise your skills and experience to identify and effectively manage issues;
  • Respond to after hours incidents and escalate matters accordingly;
  • Periodic weekend work required.

Please note - no onsite residence is currently available and candidates need to reside within close proximity to the park

To be successful in this role you will have the following requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in leadership and management or equivalent experience
  • Certificate IV Holiday Parks and Resorts (desirable)
  • Current Provide First Aid certificate
  • Current Driver Licence
  • WHS for Managers and Supervisors Certified
  • Demonstrated experience in high level operational leadership and management of an equivalent business
  • Strong business acumen including experience in financial reporting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in Newbook booking system
  • Experience in TANDA workforce management software
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite

The successful applicants will be subject to a National Criminal History Check and a Pre-Employment Medical Assessment including Functional Capacity or will have to provide evidence of recent successful assessments, as well as have the right to work in Australia and be able to provide evidence of this
