JOB DESCRIPTION

MAISON de SABRÉ is looking for an extremely well rounded Video Content Creator to join our creative team on the Gold Coast. To succeed in this role, you should have experience across creative concepting, shooting and post-production. We’re looking for a natural creative who loves working in a team just as much as they enjoy owning their own work. You should be a responsive communicator who is eager to learn and get the job done, and who loves feedback as part of the production process. To be considered for this role, you must provide a link to your demo reel or portfolio of work.

 

The ideal candidate is versatile across stills and video shooting and editing, with broad specialisation in the Adobe editing suite. You should have 4+ years videography experience, ideally including experience with digitally native brands and luxury brands. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with our founders, creative team and marketing team to develop and edit all elements of brand creative.

  • Create and edit relevant, quality image and video content and ads for multi-platform use and distribution including for online, print and in social media channels (e.g. Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, Snapchat, Stories, Tik Tok)

  • Ensure content optimises engagement for target audiences, builds awareness, drives conversion and establishes community

  • Develop expert knowledge of brand, marketing goals, production timelines and deadlines.

  • Identify and make recommendations about real-time culturally relevant moments, and harness those moments to create meaningful content.

  • Recognise popular themes that our target audience engages with and support or lead the development of content strategy and execution accordingly

  • Create and combine compelling, best-in-class creative with clear marketing messages and calls-to-action.

  • Communicate progress effectively with marketing leaders, peers and founders

  • Edit many types of stills and videos for a diverse range of projects

  • Edit audio and sound design on projects

  • Manage media assets and archiving on all company projects

  • Assist with operations as required, including vendor relations, asset tracking, on-set production, and other ad hoc tasks

  • Export and deliver all video projects within specific requirements

  • Engage in opportunities to develop original content and concepts for web and mobile development, and for general creative concepts

  • Create motion graphics and animations using 2D and 3D applications for ads and brand content

  • Write, storyboard, produce, and edit audio and video-based projects (short-form content, trailers, promos, sales reels, radio ads, and other branded/promotional content.)

  • Serve as lead on assignments from concept through final delivery.

  • Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring that all projects fit the MAISON de SABRE voice and brand


 

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of relevant experience with planning, shooting and editing video and stills for a DTC or luxury brand

  • Degree in or deep understanding of marketing is required

  • Expert ability across the Adobe Suite, especially After Effects and Premiere

  • Strong portfolio of work, which much be supplied as part of the application process

  • Production skills: photography and videography, camera operation, sound, lighting operation, and quality sound capture.

  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, concepting and executing cutting-edge video creative across various projects, platforms and timelines

  • Must demonstrate a passion and knack for visual storytelling and connecting with audiences across platforms

  • Outstanding sense of aesthetic and attention to brand voice and detail

  • Excellent two-way communicator who can collaborate with others and receive and implement feedback

  • Understanding of digital platforms and social media best practices, and experience with social-first content creation

  • Passion for luxury and DTC is a plus
