Technology Support Officer

Our client is looking for an experienced Technology Support Officer to work in a contract role.

The role:

You will be the single point of contact for ICT incidents, service requests and general communication. You will resolve ICT incidents and service requests in a timely manner. Desktop, mobile hardware and software support will also be a main responsibility.

All relevant incidents and service requests will need to be logged with sufficient detail, including correct classification, allocation, and prioritisation.

When incidents cannot be resolved within agreed timescales, they will need to be escalated to specialist support teams.

Criteria:

  • Proven experience in the field providing first and second level ICT support
  • Knowledge and experience of technologies, operations and service delivery concepts
  • High level problem solving skills and strong computer aptitude
  • Qualification within IT related field would be highly advantageous
  • Drivers Licence
