About the Role 

Empowering People in Communities (EPIC) are looking for a local to Newman to plan and deliver projects and programs to support the community needs; aligned to funding and community requirements. You will be responsible for the ongoing management and delivery of schedules programs and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders

EPIC is a not for profit organisation operating in the Pilbara Region and Goldfields Region of Western Australia. EPIC stands for Empowering People in Communities and that is what we aim to do through a range of services that support many people to live a more connected life including disability services, Jobs & Skills centers, parenting services and community programs and events.

About the Duties and Responsibilities 

With previous experience working in planning and project development you will be responsible for new activities, programs and events. You will attend networking meetings to promote the services to community groups and businesses while maintaining effective and timely communication with community manager to ensure that the EPIC programs are delivered professionally and effectively.  

 

This Programs community coordinator role is people focused, so if you have a genuine interest in the well-being and inclusion of people of all ages - Consider a career that is EPIC! 

  

About You 

  • Excellent planning and project development skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Programs 
  • Culturally sensitive to a broad and diverse client group with excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised  
  • Hold current C Class Drivers Licence
