The Role:

 

You will be responsible for commercial operations across your allocated territory with a heightened focus on growth, driving revenue and profit within company expectations, with proactive development of new customers and strategic expansion of our brands to maximise market share and responsibilities and tasks such as:

 

  • Establishing yourself as an industry client solution partner
  • Meet and exceed agreed targets on a monthly and annual basis
  • Following up of cold and warm leads
  • Identify and attract new customers/projects creating new business opportunities in your territory
  • Conduct customer site visits that build long term business relationships
  • Establish strong working relationships with key sales customers working in conjunction with internal stakeholders

 

The Person:

 

As well as a person who will honour our core values of People, Safety, Respect, Communication and Continuous Improvement we are looking for someone with:

 

  • Must have a minimum of two years of sales experience in a rental or capital equipment sales business
  • Proven experience in conducting cold calling
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Access Group customers and fellow colleagues
  • Ability to convey technology and business value propositions to our customer
  • Assertiveness, tenacity with demonstratable determination and resilience
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and changeable environment effectively, with minimal supervision
  • A proven high-performance professional with the ability to work effectively in a busy and high-pressure team environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality; ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and be self-motivated
  • The drive an energy to work from 7am to 5pm
  • Current and valid NSW drivers’ licence
  • It would be an advantage to have undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications in sales or business management
  • It would be an advantage to have an EWP high risk licence, white card and any other industry licencing or certification
