Full Time Security Officer

Working as a Security Officer, G4S are seeking a qualified security professional to join our team with a high profile client in Brisbane's central business district.

As a Security Officer, your duties and responsibilities will include the following;

  • Managing the telephone system, internal communications including booking rooms
  • Assist in the provision and facilitation of on-site training and inductions
  • Generation and management of access passes for visitors and employees
  • Processing of incoming and outgoing mail inclusive of couriers and collection
  • Conducting and reporting on regular security patrols
  • Control access to the building, car park, lockers and CCTV as required
  • Responding to incidents and events ensuring they are escalated as required
  • Undertaking the duties of a Fire Warden within the site

To be considered for the position, you must possess the following skills and qualifications;

  • Certificate II or III in Security Operations
  • Queensland Security License
  • Current HLTAID003 and CPR Qualification
  • Full Australian Working Rights
  • 24/7 Availability
  • Intermediate Computer Skills
  • Previous experience with Security Systems will be highly regarded
