IT Support Officer

About the Opportunity

CPA Group is currently seeking an experienced IT Support Officer to join our amazing IT team at the Brisbane head office. The successful candidate is responsible for providing a broad range of IT support to CPA Group team members and making sure that organisational goals are attained through the provision of IT services. This position will be set up on a casual/contractual basis for any adhoc IT work that our IT team might require support with.

 

Some of the duties and responsibilities are including but not limited to the below:

  • Provide an initial point of contact for end user, network and hardware support tickets and faults
  • Provide day to day assistance to the IT department, Level 2 IT Support Officers and the IT Manager
  • Perform application, hardware and operating system diagnosis and resolutions independently
  • Refurbish, upgrade, reimage, and reallocate new and existing hardware
  • Desk and IT equipment setups and moves.
  • Be involved in designing and delivering solutions within Microsoft Cloud, Office 365 and Windows 10 environments
  • Document processes and training materials
  • Research and develop new systems, solutions, and processes
  • Maintain a continued focus on privacy, security, reliability, uptime and performance for all users and devices
  • Produce documentation including IT processes and training materials
  • Provide end user training

 

The successful applicant will have the following qualifications, experiences and skills;

  • A Tertiary IT-related degree, equivalent studies and/or experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - can both understand and explain complex concepts clearly and simply
  • Experience in Windows operating systems and excellent skills with Microsoft and Office 365 suite and online applications
  • Extensive experience with IT hardware diagnosis, upgrades, maintenance, and repairs including notebooks, desktops, copiers/printers etc
  • Driven by a genuine customer and end-user service ethos and able to inspire the same in others
  • Proven ability to develop positive relationships with end users, customers, clients, and vendors
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to implement and manage change in a clear and logical manner
  • Ability to follow direction and instructions

 

Desirable skills - not essential

  • Microsoft 365 Admin experience (Admin Centre, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Azure, PowerShell)
  • Microsoft 365 PowerApps experience (PowerAutomate, Flow, Forms, JSON, PowerBI, Planner, etc.)
