You will be the first point of contact for face-to-face/phone/email enquiries for the business. You will be responsible for providing administrative support for all day to day office requirements. You will be adaptable to difficult situations and have strong communication, customer service and time management skills. This Casual, Monday to Friday role is key to our operation and would suit a friendly, positive, and motivated individual who has an interest in developing their career within the transport industry. The Job:

  • Effectively assist with customer enquiries via phone and email, including meeting and greeting customers when required
  • Efficient data entry, utilising a variety of systems and producing reports ensuring a high level of accuracy
  • Liaising with a number Followmont branches and other key stakeholder ensuring a prompt and professional service
  • Providing detailed tracking and reporting on freight movements and deliveries including reporting on misdirected freight

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced Customer Service based role for a minimum of 2 years, experience within the transport industry is also highly regarded
  • A passion for going the extra mile to provide high level service to all of our customers
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base in a professional, prompt and timely manner
  • A strong level of empathy, resilience and capability for effective time management in organising and prioritising workloads
  • Robust attention to detail coupled with solid problem-solving skills, and the ability to work within a fast-paced, high pressure environment
