About the role:

The Content Lead for the Bunnings Corporate Affairs Team is a hybrid videographer and editor, tasked with the creation of relevant and entertaining information via video storytelling, and delivering it to our target audiences.

This role will see the Content Lead working with a variety of internal stakeholders from the Leadership Team in the National Support Office, through to Team Members in stores, getting involved with every facet of the Bunnings Team and communicating the stories they wish to tell.

Our ideal candidate will be a highly competent videographer and editor, have a strong background in content creation, and ideally have experience working in broadcasting or the media.

 

As the Content Lead, you can expect to: 

  • Produce, film and edit video content, project managing from concept development to delivery
  • Bring key messages to life through creative, compelling storytelling and production of visual assets
  • Write, develop, and create content which maximises engagement and connects with key audiences
  • Publish assets on relevant internal channels and provide assets to external channel managers as required
  • Manage design, structure and publish internal communications to enhance user-experience and ensure information is easily accessible
  • Ensure internal content aligns to broader business and Corporate Affairs strategy and objectives
  • Explore content beyond the business and share best practice with the broader team
  • Oversee management of the digital asset library
  • Contribute to the Corporate Affairs communication strategy
  • Develop and grow relationships with stakeholders and collaborate with other teams

 

You’ll need: 

  • A tertiary qualification in Communications, Journalism, Content Production, Media, Digital Marketing, or related field
  • 8+ years’ working experience in the above disciplines
  • Ideally come from broadcasting or media background
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, able to converse with every level of stakeholder
  • Advanced video production skills – filming and editing
  • Advanced skills in the Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects and Premiere Pro
  • Highly developed understanding of visual storytelling, video production and graphic design
  • Extensive experience in developing and executing strategic communications plans
  • Advanced project management experience from concept development to delivery

 

Note: This role works across both Australia and New Zealand and will be required to perform regular work out of hours. Some domestic and international travel may be required.
