HR Officer

Arc Infrastructure manages vital transport infrastructure. We operate a rail freight network that stretches more than five thousand kilometres across Western Australia. From the diverse Midwest across to the fascinating Goldfields and Yilgarn regions and through the stunning South West and Great Southern, the network we manage connects local businesses and industries with eastern states and overseas markets. We deliver WA products to the rest of the world – 24 hours a day, seven days a week - by joining the dots between people, products and ports.

 


The Opportunity
We have a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and service-orientated person to join our friendly Human Resources team in the role of HR Officer on a 6 month fixed term contract based at our head office at the Perth Airport.
 
The Role

This role will be providing support to the HR team by completing daily HR administration processes, assisting with the recruitment of new employees and providing general support to the team.

Reporting to the HR Specialist, the key responsibilities of the HR Officer role will be:

  • General HR administration;
  • Assisting managers, supervisors and employee's to understand our enterprise agreements, company policies and procedures and the correct application;
  • End to end recruitment for all waged positions;
  • Coordinating on-boarding and off-boarding related activities;
  • Supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems. 
About You

We'd like you to have:

  • Experience providing HR advice and HR administrative support; 
  • Intermediate to Advanced MS Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint); 
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organised; 
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Proven ability to build and maintain internal & external relationships.
