Your opportunity
We are currently recruiting across Australia with opportunities to relocate to Tasmania, Queensland, NSW, South Australia, and regional Victoria.

Working with people who have sustained a physical and/or psychological work, motor vehicle, or personal injury, you will be responsible for delivering holistic, client centred services; assessing clients’ needs, to then develop and implement strategies and interventions to enable a safe return to their pre-injury activities. The versatility of this role allows you to play an important role in a multidisciplinary approach to assist injured persons to return to their previous activities of daily living at work and at home.

You will have the opportunity to work across various schemes including: Workers compensation, Compulsory Third Party (CTP), Life Insurance, Comcare, Australian Defence Force (ADF), Department of Veteran’s Affairs, and employer funded injury prevention opportunities. Services provided can include early intervention and initial assessments, home assessments (for recommendations of services, equipment, home modifications), worksite assessments, job task analyses, medical case conferences, ergonomic assessments, functional capacity assessments, and case management services (and other similar services) to assist injured individuals return to work and life.

You will have:

  • Full registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency);
  • Allied Health Qualification in Occupational Therapy;
  • A passion for injury prevention, facilitation of return to independence at work and at home, and the desire to make a difference;
  • The ability to grow our services and build strong relationships with key customers; and
  • Current driver's license and motor vehicle.

Training
Our comprehensive induction program will ensure that you are equipped with the tools you need to excel. You will be trained to understand and deliver Positivum™, IPAR's unique biopsychosocial assessment and health coaching program, which our Consultants utilise to empower their clients to achieve a positive mindset for successful return to life, work, and wellbeing.
