We have experienced significant growth over the last few years which has resulted in securing a large portfolio of projects and created multiple opportunities for flexible and highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team.

We have a number of HDPE Geomembrane Welding/ Plastics Technician positions available immediately for experienced and ticketed welders and technicians, this is a fantastic opportunity to work on some of the largest lining projects in Australia.

What you'll be doing:

  • General installation of geomembrane liners, including deploying sandbags and assisting in the deployment of sheets of material as necessary

  • Perform geomembrane welding unsupervised, using products such as HDPE, LLDPE and PP;

  • Ensure wedge welding equipment is maintained and serviced;

  • Perform quality geomembrane welds that meet quality standards and expectations;

  • Test integrity of all plastic welds and ensure all welds and work meet the minimum requirements;

  • Ensure correct methodology is used to fabricate geomembrane materials in the most practical and time efficient way; and

  • General labouring duties.

Due to the location and type of work you must be prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions and be physically fit.

What we're looking for:

  • You must be able to demonstrate a solid work history and experience ( >3 years) working as a Geomembrane Technician;

  • IAGI or TWI certification highly desirable;

  • Current White Card or equivalent;

  • Ability to understand and follow instructions;

  • Be a recognised team player and have the ability to work in a team based environment;

  • Commitment and a good attitude towards safety and culture;

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as manual labour;

  • Ability to work under pressure;

  • Willingness to grow and develop within a dynamic, changing environment; and

  • Understand and work to Workplace Health, Safety and Environment (WHS&E) requirements.

You will be required to travel and work on various sites around Australia and stay in camp style or local accommodation, therefore flexibility and a good attitude is a must!
