About the Role:

 

Ausgroup are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Senior HR Advisor to join the team based in West Perth.

 

Reporting to the Group Manager – People and Culture, you will have the opportunity to be exposed to multiple business units and projects spanning across multiple sectors throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.

 

Core duties will include:

 

  • Advise business managers/supervisors on HR related matters including (but not limited to):
    • Performance management (up to and including termination of employment)
    • Salary/remuneration levels
    • Dispute resolution
    • Employee retention
    • Awards/agreement interpretation
    • HR legislative requirements
    • Contract entitlements and terms and conditions of employment

       

  • Provide HR case management and investigation support.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR systems and processes.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reporting on key HR metrics with a high level of accuracy.
  • Undertake the administration of Change of Condition (CoC) letters, exit interviews and other generalist HR activities.
  • Work with project teams on site mobilisation and project start-ups, including the development of Project HR Management plans.
  • Assist management with new and updated Position Descriptions for all employees.
  • Provide input into the development of employee retention and wellbeing strategies.
  • Assist in Remuneration Review processes (ad-hoc and annual review) and ensure compliance with company salary banding.
  • Provide guidance to business leaders and the company recruitment team on appropriate remuneration banding for recruitment purposes.
  • Undertake site visits and consult with management regarding HR issues, and provide guidance and action where appropriate.

 

About you:

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in Human Resources, preferably within a resources or construction industry contracting environment.
  • Tertiary education in Human Resources or related field.
  • You will thrive in a people orientated and solutions focused role.
  • Proven ability to solve problem & have a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing stakeholder demands in a time critical environment.
