About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor for our team on Wheatstone. This will a FIFO position working on a 2:2 roster from Perth.

 

The role will include building relationships with key stakeholders and working collaboratively with our team to manage our client's expectations. As a supervisor you will ensure that all tasks needed for completion of the shutdown are undertaken in accordance with the approved safety, quality, environmental cost, schedule and statutory requirements.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading and supervising our Electrical/Instrumentation trade maintenance teams
  •  Providing instruction, direction and feedback in a hand-on approach
  • Active involvement in meetings with all stakeholders
  • Mentoring and supervision for safe work environments
  • Execution of shift work-plans
  • Administering the documentation for planning and scoping of work
  • Ensure all tasks are undertaken  in accordance with the approved safety, quality, environmental, cost, schedule and statutory requirements

Experience in the following areas is necessary for a successful application:

  • Electrical or Instrumentation trade qualifications are essential
  • A minimum of 4 years' leadership / supervisory experience within your trade 
  • A minimum of 3- 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the oil & gas industry
  • Previous experience working in a Brownfields environment
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • The ability to motivate and lead your crew to achieve deadlines and common goals
  • A strong passion and understanding of safety, quality processes and procedures
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Outstanding organisational skills to maximise efficiency
