About the role

MLG Oz are currently seeking an experienced Fixed and Mobile Plant Supervisor join the crushing team at our Christmas Creek operations. 

Reporting to the Site Manager, this position is:

  • FIFO ex Perth
  • 2:1 Roster
  • Dayshifts / Nightshifts

Key Duties of the role include:

  • Supervise and coordinate fixed and mobile plant personnel to ensure all tasks are performed in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Overseeing the operation of the fixed crushing plant to ensure it operates to the maximum capacity while being maintained to the highest standard
  • Complete required inspections, audits, and daily reports
  • Provide leave coverage (if required) by assisting the Crusher Operators and Fitters with their daily tasks
  • Conduct internal training (VOC's) when required

To be successful in your application, you will need the following:

  • Current Driver's Licence (HR or above preferred but not essential)
  • High Risk Work licence – WP and DG
  • Relevant experience in a Fixed Plant site supervisory or management role
  • Experience and understanding of material flow and fixed plant fine tuning
  • Ability to identify and rectify mechanical issues on the fixed plant
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including a Drug and Alcohol test

The experience with following equipment will be highly regarded:

  • Knowledge in running Osborn /Astec crushing circuits
  • Caterpillar Mobile Plant – FEL, Skid steer and excavators
  • High Risk Work licence – RG and C6
