About the Role

Fyfe is seeking to employ Drafters to join our design team located in Adelaide. Our Energy and Resources Division works with major exploration and distribution clients to deliver specialist mining, oil and gas projects across the country. Our team of experienced multi-disciplined designers support the business in delivering a range of projects to our enviable client base.

In this role you will be part of a design office responsible for delivering a wide range of projects using 2D and 3D software packages. You will have strong communication skills, ideally have a basic knowledge of the oil and gas and / or mining industry and have a good attitude to learning.

Skills & Experience

Drafters at the early stages of their drafting career and /or currently studying within an engineering field are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic and aptitude to learn
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience using AutoCAD - Plant3D is desired though not essential 
  • Understanding of P&ID, Orthographic and Isometric drawings is desired though not essential 

The successful candidate will have a positive and professional attitude and be able to contribute to the design team.
